Herding

I met sheep for the first time ever at the 2010 Beauceron Journee. Those critters are so much fun! I passed my instinct test. The evaluator said that I run close, stay silent, have a high level of excitement, keep sustained interest and use a mild grip on the sheep when needed. As an aside, she noted that I would need an extremely strong and experienced trainer if I wanted to pursue this endeavor. I certainly tired them out for her! Photos are courtesy of Debbie Baker.
